African Footballer of the Year Empty African Footballer of the Year

Didier Drogba has been named African Footballer of the Year. Considering the period in question was the calendar year of 2009, how on earth did he get this award ahead of Samuel Eto'o? Eto'o had a fabulous season, helping Barcelona win everything in sight! Is this simply a case of "Power of the Premier League"?

There i admit there was some a bit of bias but i just love it when a Chelsea guy wins an award.. it'll do a lot to his confidence!!

Hi admin, i was having trouble with entering teams' forum (jst didnt want to admit it).. though it was something to do with my comp's net, coz of late i've been having access while still using the same ol' procedure.

Don't you just love CAF? Banning Togo and now Drogs as Player of the Year? Here's an idea for them: Do us all a favour and ban Nigeria from the World Cup and replace them with Egypt and all your sins will be forgiven. Twisted Evil
